Step Up For Down Syndrome 5K

On Saturday, October 8, Lexus of Richmond attended the 10th Annual Step Up For Down Syndrome 5K to support the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Richmond! Rain or Shine, the event was a great time. The runners/walkers were out in full force to support a great cause!

Throughout the morning there was a concert, a game truck were kids could game video games, a mini pumpkin patch, food vendors, and much more to keep the families entertained. Even with the rain, the smiles on the kids faces were proof enough that the day was a success!

Lexus at the Bon Secours Golf Tournament

September 26, 2016, was the 25th Annual Bon Secours Richmond Foundation Charity Golf Tournament. Lexus of Richmond proudly sponsored the event and was featured on one of the holes in the tournament at The Country Club of Virginia James River and Tuckahoe Creek Courses.

If a hole-in one were made on the Lexus sponsored hole, the individual who made the shot would walk away with a 24 month lease on a 2016 Lexus NX!

While at the event, our very own Tom Flood came incredibly close to a hole-in-one on the Lexus sponsored hole. Had the shot gone in, he would have walked away with a lease on the 2016 Lexus NX.img_6550

Champions For Charity Golf Tournament 2016

Join us at Independence Golf Club on June 15 & 16, 2016, as we present the Champions For Charity Golf Tournament! Help us support The Bon Secours Richmond East End Children’s Fund, while enjoying a nice day on the course.

The top two finishers will win a trip to Pebble Beach for the 54 hole National Lexus Golf Tournament. While at the tournament, if they place in the top 10, they will have the opportunity to bring back additional funds to the Bon Secours Richmond East End Children’s Fund.

The money raised during the Champions For Charity Golf Tournament will go to help Bon Secours grow their established initiatives, such as the class-a-role. The class-a-role is a mobile kitchen where children in the community learn how to cook various food. This teaches kids how to prepare food in an easy and fun way and to promote a healthy lifestyle.

If you can not attend the tournament but would still like to donate, please click here to help this worthy cause.

Lexus Enform Remote App

Android users, have you noticed your Lexus Enform Remote app acting strangely or not working recently? This may be because Lexus just released a major update. Lexus Enform Remote V1.2.0 is a new version of the app that has been released for anyone using the Android phone and operating systems. If this update is not done, the older version of the app will not work properly or at all. To update, please go to the Google Play Store on your phone and touch the Menu button (three square dots). The update does not affect Apple iPhone users. However, we recommend that you update your Lexus apps often for the proper functionality of the apps and your phone. Lexus is always trying to improve, and we love to keep our customers up to date on technology!

Lexus Partners with Independence Golf Club.

We are excited to announce that, Lexus of Richmond is playing a big part at Independence Golf Club, beginning this fall. We are providing white CT Hybrids for player assistance vehicles. These “high end” player assistance vehicles will replace the outdated golf cart, providing the perfect luxury experience, as you navigate through the course.

Independence Golf Club is located on the border of Midlothian and Powhatan counties, re-opening on Monday, September 22nd.

Since closing in May for renovations, Owners and Brother, Giff and Alan Breed took the time to not only update, but make changes for the club’s future.

With plans to host more weddings and events, a 3,200 square foot Banquet hall is being constructed. This hall will overlook the golf course for a breath-taking view. Along with another exciting plan, a spa is in the works on the ground floor.

Also the club’s restaurant is refreshed, the all-new Founders Bistro. This restaurant has a new name, style and chef. With hopes to push the restaurant into the future, they can now cater to all needs, even a causal, Friday night dinner with your significant other.

Of course there are new greens. New grass will be installed on the course, which will eliminate 40 percent of the existing bunkers.

But the highlight of these plans, are the white CT Hybrids, that are upgrading the golf carts. These CT’s can take you anywhere you need to go on the property in style, while also keeping the environment green.

With the new renovations and additions of our White CT Hybrids, Independence Golf Club is sure to be the most beautiful place to be in Richmond; from Sunday golf sessions to an upscale Saturday wedding.

We hope to see you there, cruising in one of our white CT Hybrids. #RVALexus #LexusofRichmond #RVALexusandIndependenceGolf
