Virginia Hops and Barley Festival

IMG_0356

On May 13th Lexus of Richmond was proud to be a sponsor for the Virginia Hops and Barley Festival. This year the event was held at Westchester Commons to accommodate the growth they have seen recently. We were lucky enough to see a stop in the rain for the day as it rained for two days straight before the event.

There were 20 different craft breweries featured with various beers to sample as well as multiple food trucks scattered throughout the space. The crowd had a wonderful time listening to the live music while tasting the beer. Overall it was a great day out enjoyed by all, and we enjoyed mingling in the crowd and having a excellent time with everyone.

VCU Basketball vs Davidson

IMG_9073

Lexus of Richmond joined VCU on Saturday, February 11th for their 74 to 60 victory over Davidson.

We were able to showcase a 2017 Lexus NX 200t F Sport outside the stadium. Inside we let fans enter our contest to win an all expenses paid weekend in New York City. The lucky winner will receive transportation, hotel accommodations, a gift card for dinner, and tickets to a Knicks game for themselves and a guest.

During the game, the Rams continuously fought off Davidson to come out on top 74-60. This win marked the 6th win in a row for the Rams. We are pleased to sponsor this great team and be a part of RamNation!

The Virginia Home for Boys and Girls recently put on a great night at the Barrel Thief in Richmond.

The VA Home for Boys and Girls was founded in 1846 in Church Hill. It relocated to it’s current location in 1957. Originally a male only organization, in 2004, the home decided to start housing females as well.

The children here can come from the Department of Social Justice,  Juvenile Justice, social service organizations, and even parents/guardians of the children. When possible the children  return to their families and homes, but some move into independent living or possibly adoptive/foster homes. The VHBG facilities are located on 30+ acres and include: residential homes, an alternative school, a counseling clinic, a chapel, dining areas, a gym, and multiple sports fields.

If you would like to learn more about this organization please click here.

Lexus of Richmond was honored to be a sponsor for such a great organization and a truly fun night!

Westchester Commons Tree Lighting

1

On Friday, November 18, Lexus of Richmond was in full force at Westchester Commons for their Tree Lighting ceremony. The evening was full of fun and excitement for children and adults alike!

There was live music from the School of Rock, a hot chocolate bar, marshmallow roasting and many other activities for the kids. Of course the night would not be complete without an appearance from Santa himself!

3

Santa upgraded his sleigh this year. He was not brought in by his reindeer, but instead a red Lexus IS 250 convertible!  Once Santa made his way through the crowd, he had the kids help light the tree with him. After a few “snow flurries” the kids lined up to meet Santa and take pictures.

It was truly a great night had by all! Lexus of Richmond is honored to have been a part of such a wonderful family night!
