Too Wild for the US???

Well, we don’t think so! The only thing that makes this commercial wild is that we were not invited to the party. The Japanese-European inspired commercial highlights the All-New 2015 NX, set to release in late fall of 2014.

Pursuit of Perfection Leadership Award Nominee Week #24 – Hannah Cornman of Cosby High School!

Congratulations to our 24th Lexus Pursuit of Perfection Leadership Award nominee, Hannah Cornman.  Hannah has a 4.54 GPA at Cosby High School and is ranked 18th in her graduating class. She was a commended student in the National Merit scholarship program this year and received and has been an American Mensa member during her high school career. Her other academic achievements include Salem college Alumnae Association Book Award Scholarship, Foreign Language student of the year, Beta and National Honor Society club member. Hannah’s extra-curricular activities include Junior and Senior Advisory Council, Yearbook staff, Key club, LeadAmerica Leadership University at George Washington University and shadowing Dr. Thomas Loughran who is a VCU Sports Medicine Orthopedist. Her athletics include varsity soccer, varsity basketball, Richmond Kickers Elite travel team and Virginia Olympic Development Program. Hannah enjoys giving back to her community by working with the Woodlake Environmental Committee, Tri-City Work Camp and other volunteer opportunities through the Richmond Kickers soccer club.

As a finalist, she has received a Dinner for Two and an opportunity to compete for the $10,000 scholarship.

Pursuit of Perfection Leadership Award Nominee Week #23 – Anthony Carson of Monacan High School!

Congratulations to our 23rd Lexus of Richmond Pursuit of Perfection Leadership Award nominee, Anthony Carson.  Anthony has a 4.47 GPA at Monacan High School and is ranked 8th in his graduating class. His academic achievements include West Point Leadership Award, National Honor Society, Spanish Honors Society, President’s Award for Academic Excellence and is a Jefferson Scholarship nominee for Monacan.  Anthony’s extra-curricular activities include Senior Class Historian, Student Leadership Council, Beta Club, Psychology Club, Freshman Mentor Program and his church’s youth group. Anthony is the QB and captain of his varsity football team and was also part of his school’s varsity basketball team where he was 1st Team All-District All-Academic in both sports. He enjoys giving back to his community by working with Stop Hunger Now, Miracle League Baseball and was a counselor at Monacan youth football and basketball camps.

Lexus of Richmond is proud to sponsor the 3rd Annual Westchester Shamrock 5K/1K Kids Fun Run again this year!  This year’s event will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2014 – St. Patrick’s Day!  Movin’ mania Heathly Kids Initiative is the official charitable fundraising partner of the Westchester Shamrock 5k.  By participating in the race and making a small contributionn, you can support the fight against childhood obesity. One hundred percent of the money raised stays right here in Richmond to help benefit children.  Every donation counts and no amount is too small.

Congratulations to our 16th Lexus Pursuit of Perfection Leadership Awardnominee, Nathaniel Hall!  Nathaniel has a 4.5 GPA at Atlee High School where he is in the Key Club, Wind Ensemble, and the Academic Team. He has also won the Scholar Athlete Award at the State, Regional and District level. Nathaniel is an impressive cross country and track runner with accomplishments at the state level and has excelled in many other events at the regional and district levels. Nathaniel gives back to the community by volunteering for Hanover Safe Place.

Congratulations to our 15th Lexus of Richmond Pursuit of Perfection Leadership Award nominee, Henry Fauls! Henry has a 4.6 GPA and is ranked #2 in his class at St. Christopher’s School. He has had Academic Honors or High Honors every semester grader 9-12. Some of Henry’s extra-curricular activities include co-editor of the school paper, philosophy club, and treasurer of the Missionary Society. Henry is part of the NOVA club swim team as well as his school’s varsity swim team, where he excelled in multiple events. He gives back to the community by volunteering as a Westwood Club swim coach.

Congratulations to our 14th nominee, Amy Dunham! Amy has a 4.6 GPA and is #1 in her class at Patrick Henry High School where she is involved in many organizations such as JROTC, Latin Club, and the National Honors Society. Amy is also an All Regional cross country runner where she excelled in multiple events. Amy believes it is important to give back to the community by volunteering for Stop Hunger Now and Global Youth Service.

Congratulations to our 13th Lexus of Richmond Pursuit of Perfection Leadership Award Nominee, Meredith Vay!   Meredith has a 4.5 GPA at Thomas Dale High School where she is in the French National Honors Society and won first place in the 2012 science fair! Some of her extracurricular activities include the Beta and Science club as well as being the team captain of Quest Swimming for the past year where she excelled in multiple events. Meredith has given back to the community by volunteering at her high school to help in recycling efforts.

As a finalist, she has received a Dinner for two and an opportunity to compete for the $10,000 scholarship.
