Lexus of Richmond Leadership Award Nominee Week 16 – Addie Nash

Lexus of Richmond presents our Leadership Award Scholarship week 16 nominee Addie Nash from Trinity Episcopal School. Having been on the Headmaster’s List every quarter of high school, she currently has a 4.875 GPA. She is an International Baccalaureate Diploma Candidate. Addie is a member of the National Spanish Honor Society as well as Mu Alpha Theta (Math Honor Society). As a junior, Addie was named a Junior Honor Usher which is comprised of the top 10 in the class.

Playing for Trinity, Addie is a 4 year Varsity Field Hockey player as well as a 4 year Varsity Lacrosse player. Along with the field hockey team, she is a four time LIS Champion and a one time VISAA State Champion. Playing as a midfielder, she was the captain during her senior season. Her accolades include being named to the 1st Team All State as a senior and the 2nd Team All State as a junior, both for field hockey. Within Trinity’s team, she was selected as the Best Offensive player. Additionally, she was chosen for the NFHCA National Academic Squad for field hockey and the US Lacrosse All Academic Squad. Beyond her accolades, Addie has committed to play Field Hockey for the University of Richmond next school year.

During her time at Trinity, Addie has been a part of the student government as a secretary throughout all four years. Addie is a also a member of the Student Conduct Committee which is a small group of juniors and seniors as well as a couple teachers at Trinity. The students in this group are chosen as representatives by other members of their class. Additionally, she is a member of the Field Hockey Club, Spirit Club,  and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at school.

Never one to shy away from giving her time, Addie has been involved in numerous community service projects. She has gone on a mission trip to Jamaica and volunteered for Caritas. She has fostered puppies from Richmond Animal League, typically receiving three puppies at a time. Addie has volunteered at Children’s Garden Preschool Camp as well as Miles for Smiles. She has made and given out snacks at Anna Julia Cooper. And at trinity, Addie is a tour guide to both prospective and transfer students.

Addie has won a dinner for two and is now in the running for the $10,000 scholarship.
