Pursuit of Perfection Leadership Award Nominee Week #27 – Isaiah Fleming-Klink from Collegiate School

Congratulations Isaiah Fleming-Klink from Collegiate School, our week 27 nominee for the Lexus of Richmond Pursuit of Perfection Leadership Award!

Isaiah has excelled in the classroom as an AP Scholar with Honors with a 4.15 GPA and a score of 2240 on his SATs. He has been awarded with the Elijah Davis Catterton Scholarship, the Johnson Family Scholarship, Global Leadership Adventure’s Alumni Scholarship, Best Student-Boy Award for sophomore English, the Samuel D. Jessee Leadership Endowment Award and is a nominee for the John Montgomery Belk Scholarship at Davidson College and the Trustee Scholarship at Boston University. He was selected into the National Honore French Society, was selected as an ambassador at the International Emerging Leaders: Asia Seminar, and was nominated as a global ambassador for the Global Leadership Adventures. Isaiah has been involved in a number of extra-curricular activities as student leader for the Collegiate Middle School mentoring program, the junior class representative of the SCA, the leader of the School for Ethics and Global Leadership’s Books and Basketball program, as a member of the Model UN, and as a member of the French Club. Isaiah has excelled on the field, particularly in soccer, as the recipient of 7 varsity letters, co-captain of the varsity soccer and indoor soccer teams, soccer prep league winner, soccer state quarterfinalist and semifinalist, Tucker-Pitt Cup winner, and he has had over 20 career goals and over 20 career assists on his varsity soccer team. He is also a level 7 professional referee for the U.S. Soccer Federation. Isaiah has donated his time in the community for several charitable programs including Collegiate’s Open Gym program, and Lunch Buddies (both of which he is co-president), Children of Africa, Interact, Outreach, TEACH, RVA Access, and Clean ups with Collegiate’s Earth Society.

Isaiah plans to attend the Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.

Isaiah has won a dinner for two at Fleming’s Steakhouse and is now in the running for the $10,000 scholarship.
