Pursuit of Perfection Leadership Award Nominee Week #5 – Bryce Badura from Math & Science High School at Clover Hill HS!

Congratulations to Bryce Badura from Math & Science High School at Clover Hill HS, our week 5 nominee for the Lexus of Richmond Pursuit of Perfection Leadership Award!

With a 4.87 GPA, Bryce has been earned numerous recognitions and awards for his academic achievements, including Top Student of the Year, 1st and 2nd place at the INTEL Richmond STEM Fair in physics, 1st place at the VA Jr Academy of Science Fair and state winner in zoology, the William and Mary Leadership Award, and the Air Force Special Award for Excellence in Science, among others. Bryce is also AP Scholar with Distinction and got perfect Math SAT and ACT scores as a freshman. He is active in student government and other organizations as the Vice President of the CHHS Student Council Association, president and co-founder of the Varsity Outreach Club, Officer at Large in the National Honor Society, President of the Future Business Leaders of America- CHHS chapter and as a member of the Beta Club, and the Spanish and English National Honor Societies. Bryce is a talented and well-rounded athlete as well, which he demonstrated after facing adversity in his pre-high-school years when he was diagnosed with progressive scoliosis. Due to his condition he had to discontinue his career as a runner and soccer player, as well as any other high-impact sports in which he participated; but he soon excelled in golf and tennis, and was an All-District, All-Academic team member, captain of the Clover Hill HS golf team, a Conference 5A Champion and a Conference 5A Championship MVP. Bryce is active in the community as well as the founder of the Dunkin Donuts Munchkins Run for ASK Childhood Cancer Association, raising $60,000, 25000+ participations, and 250 volunteers for the foundation, Chairman of the Chesterfield County Youth Services Citizens Board, and was State High School rep for NASA & VA Space Grant Consortium to name a few

Bryce has won a dinner for two at Fleming’s Steakhouse and is now in the running for the $10,000 scholarship.
