Pursuit of Perfection Leadership Award Nominee Week #6 – Kira Tomenchok of Trinity Episcopal School!

Congratulations to our 6th Pursuit of Perfection Leadership Award nominee – Kira Tomenchok of Trinity Episcopal School! Kira has a 4.6 GPA at Trinity, where she is ranked in the top ten in her class.  She is an AP scholar, and is a member of the National Honor Society, the Spanish Honor Society and the Mu Alpha Theta Math Honor Society.  Kira is involved with the Students for Environmental Action (SEA) Club.  Kira has been swimming since before she could walk – and is the Captain of her school swim team.  She has held the school record in 100 backstroke since 9th grade.  In the community, Kira donates her time through the SEA Club, gardening and recycling, and even helped the school raise money to acquire their first solar panel.  She is also involved with Making Waves for Cancer and the Special Olympics.  Watch the Fox Richmond – WRLH video below to learn more about Kira’s great achievements, and check out our Scholarship app on Facebook for more information about each weekly nominee throughout the school year!

As a finalist, Kira will compete for a $10,000 scholarship and has won dinner for two from Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse in Richmond, VA.
