Lexus of Richmond Leadership Award Week 4 – Will Michael


Will Michael of the Trinity Episcopal School is Lexus of Richmond’s Leadership Award week 4 nominee. Currently with a GPA of 4.16, he is an International Baccalaureate Diploma Candidate, which is one of the most rigid academic programs worldwide. He is the only three sport varsity athlete at Trinity who is also a full IB Diploma Candidate.

In his 4 years playing varsity football, Will has started every game and has been named a 3-time All State Kicker. Trinity is currently the back-to-back State Champions. Similarly on the baseball team, Will has played 3 years on the varsity team and started every game, and he is expected to do the same in his last season. During his junior season, Will was named to the All-Prep League and voted his team MVP. Outside of sports, Will is involved in Trinity’s Book Club, Yoga Club where he is a Co-President, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and a member of the Battle of the Brains.

He has been a volunteer head coach for the St. Michael’s Basketball Association for co-ed elementary aged children. Last year the team he coached won the championship game during overtime. He has also volunteered for CARITAS and his church’s Vacation Bible School.

Will has won a dinner for two and is now in the running for the $10,000 scholarship.
